Accounts Assistant - TV

This role involves a variety of tasks for both company and production finance, whilst working in a collaborative and lively environment.

You’ll be based in the office four days a week, contributing to the company’s continued success . If you enjoy variety in your work and thrive in a creative company where every day is different, this could be a great fit for you.

To be a suitable candidate, you must have previous experience in finance or accounts payable (min 6-12 months), along with a friendly and approachable manner. You’ll be motivated to work in a dynamic TV production SME and have a logical, proactive and organised manner. This position involves close collaboration with production teams, so adaptability and the ability to engage & communicate with colleagues at all levels are essential.

• Maintain and reconcile the purchase ledger.
• Process invoices, including matching to POs, obtaining authorisation, and posting for both productions and overheads.
• Investigate and resolve invoice anomalies and queries.
• Purchase ledger payment - compile, obtain authorisation & post
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Manage petty cash and ensure accurate accounting.

• Previous accounts payable experience, ideally within TV, media, or a creative environment.
• Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a busy, varied workplace.
• A positive, adaptable attitude, with eagerness to learn and high energy.
• Experience with PMI software is highly advantageous.
• Calm under pressure and able to multi-task.
• Candidates with substantial finance experience who are happy in an Accounts Assistant position are also welcome.
