THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading UK trade association, shaping and supporting the automotive industry with expertise, resources, and unrivalled data. They are seeking an Account Executive to drive outbound sales, manage client relationships, and support business growth in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

This role involves handling enquiries, converting leads, and developing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will take ownership of lead generation, proposal management, and sales conversion while aligning our services with evolving industry needs.
THE ROLE:
  • Drive outbound sales efforts, meet targets, and contribute to overall team revenue goals.
  • Develop and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline while acting as the key commercial contact for industry partners and clients.
  • Provide regular sales updates, track performance through CRM (Salesforce), and share market trends to support strategic growth.
  • Work closely with marketing and consultants to align sales efforts with client needs, ensuring service relevance and effective delivery.
  • Represent the organisation at external events and forums, fostering industry connections while upholding brand integrity in all engagements.
THE PERSON:
  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, or equivalent experience, with a strong background in B2B sales—preferably in the automotive, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining senior-level customer relationships, attending meetings, and representing the business at industry events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organisational abilities, and effective time management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce), and experienced in managing sales pipelines and data.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible, with the ability to understand complex services, align them with client needs, and travel across the UK as required.
