Job description A great opportunity has become available to join the growing team within the Food Service division of Randall Parker Food Group based in Nelson, Lancashire. This is a newly created role to strengthen the finance and admin function of the site alongside offering general HR support. A broad and all-encompassing role, you will provide basic admin duties as well as supporting the Management Accountant on accounts and payroll. A point of contact for Site management and employees, you will also liaise with the HR Manager to provide advice and assistance with general HR matters. Responsibilities will include: Greeting of visitors, answering the door, telephone and corresponding to emails Collating and transferring information into excel, scanning paperwork and filing Raising and sending sales invoices and credit note
s On-site support for personnel paperwork and inductions, payroll queries and general HR matters Working closely with management to support with note-taking during investigation, disciplinary or grievance hearings Use of the factory system in running reports to support accounts and technical Assisting with other general administration tasks including finance and HR when required Entering AP invoices onto the system and dealing with any queries We are looking for a person with; The ability to communicate at all levels, on the telephone, face to face and via email A good level of computer literacy across various Microsoft Office applications
Outlook and Excel skills are vital, due to the volumes of analysis required The ability to listen, and handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality Flexibility to cover additional hours as and when needed Motivation and enthusiasm Highly organised and punctual Approachable and confident Work alone and as part of a team Prior experience gained within the manufacturing or FMCG sector would be advantageous but not essential. Good communication skills will be key when liaising directly with commercial and operational teams. The ideal candidate will join the business at an exciting time, with opportunities to grow and progress within the Randall Parker Food Group. At least one year experience in a HR advisor role is required and a CIPD level 3 qualification would be useful but isnt a necessity. Likewise, AAT qualifications would also be considered valuable to the role, but arent essential. The hours of work will be from 08:30 to 16:30 Salary will reflect the experience.
