Accounts Manager

• Preparing monthly management accounts that help steer key business decisions
• Handling balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals
• Taking charge of VAT returns and compliance
• Performing bank and accounts reconciliations with accuracy
• Ensuring full compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Leading and supporting a small, close-knit accounts team
• Managing payroll and pensions for 60+ employees
• Working full-time (37.5 hours/week) with the flexibility of hybrid working

• Solid experience in a legal finance or solicitors’ accounts environment in the same role is essential
• Strong knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
• Proficiency with Proclaim and Sage software
• A detail-oriented mindset and strong leadership skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving abilities
