Accounts Manager

A privately owned business in Blackpool are looking to recruit within their finance team. This varied and hands on role covers the whole spectrum of finance, also offering plenty of interaction with key internal and external stakeholders.
Firmly rooted in their market for 30+ years, this award winning business operates internationally partnering with some very well known brands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional seeking a business facing role with opportunity to add value within the finance function and wider business.

Your New Role as Accounts Manager:
• Liaising with external accountants for the production of quarterly management accounts and annual statutory accounts, providing all required information
• Raising sales and purchase invoices
• Chasing payments and responding to customer queries
• Supplier payments and month end payment runs
• Managing stock using Sage 200
• Cash flow reporting
• VAT returns – UK & EU
• Liaising with outsourced payroll provider
• Working with other departments to deliver and advise on key financial information

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
Knowledge of Sage 200 is essential to be considered for this role, with experience of handling multi-currencies. You will be established in a transactional accounting role, with exposure to month end activities. Strong communication skills are pivotal as the role involves lots of interaction with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
