Accounts Manager

Fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Manager to take the next step in their career and join a modern and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Hull, as a Senior Corporate Portfolio Manager.

As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a small team in the mid to large corporate sector of the business
• Manage an existing portfolio of clients and develop new business in this sector, utilising effective client management and networking opportunities to promote the firm in the local business community.
• Be the face of the business at networking events within Hull and surrounding areas.
• Seek referrals from businesses and connections in the Hull area with whom the business already has a relationship.
• Promote efficiencies and best practice to the Client Services Director and Senior Management Team.

To be applicable for this Accounts Manager role, you should meet the following:

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Have detailed knowledge of current accounting standards, legislation and business tax rules and regulations
• Have minimum of twelve months post qualification experience as an Accounts Manager, or Senior Accountant, managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Be comfortable to represent the business and attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
