Meraki Talent are delighted to be working with an Independent Chartered Accountancy client on the permanent appointment of an Accounting Manager.

The Role

Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounting cleints and supervise junior team members. Delivering timely delivery of agreed outputs to clients or senior management.

The Company

This Independent Firm places a strong emphasis on investing in its most valuable resources, which has led to the development of a dedicated and highly skilled team of specialists in accountancy, tax, audit and other services.
The team is now looking to expand with the addition of an Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the management of a portfolio of clients consisting of limited companies and some partnerships & sole traders.
• Manage and build strong client relationships.
• Review financial reports, corporate tax filings, VAT submissions, and bookkeeping.
• Offer strategic financial guidance, including tax optimization and business growth planning.
• Lead and support a small team, fostering professional growth and productivity.

Experience

• Hold Professional Qualification (ACCA, CA, ACA or equivalent).
• Experience within another Accountancy Practice.
• Candidates considered currently not Manager grade but seeking to step up to the role.
