Accounts Payable Assistant

A global engineering services company is looking to grow its finance team by introducing a new Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of finance functions, while working alongside a supportive and high-performing team.

The successful individual will be responsible for daily bank reconciliations, processing payments and invoices, and supporting the raising of overrides. You will also gain exposure to managing the payables ledger and assisting with monthly reporting. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will join a sociable and driven team focused on delivering excellent service to both clients and internal stakeholders. You'll also have the opportunity to support process improvement projects and grow within the business.

Skills required
* Ideally,practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
* A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
* Ambitious, proactive, and eager to build a long-term career in finance, learning from experienced professionals.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, capable of meeting weekly and monthly deadlines.
