Forge Talent is partnering with a leading real estate business based in Liverpool City Centre to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant.This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, positive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with all areas of the AP ledger, including processing bills.
• Ensuring compliance on POs and reconciling statements
• Maintain accurate financial records to support compliance functions.
• Managing of the creditor ledger and chasing payments
• Overseeing the accounts payable inbox, handling inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently
• Ensuring timely payment of outstanding balances
• Processing 200-250 supplier invoices weekly
• Providing ad-hoc reports as needed.

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in as an Accounts Payable Clerk desired
• CIS / Construction experience is advantageous
• Previous experience running a high-volume, efficient, and accurate AP ledger
• Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables and formulas)
• Experience working in a high volume business
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage own workload and time effectively
• Looking to grow and advance in an Accounts Payable career
