Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable Assistant | £27,000-29,000 | Warrington

We are recruiting for a successful distribution business that is growing year on year. Based in Warrington, the company offers hybrid working and flexibility.

In this role as Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Matching and coding invoices
• Weekly and monthly supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing credit notes
• Chasing POs
• Dealing with supplier queries and resolving any queries regarding outstanding payments
• Cashbook posting and allocation
• Weekly payment runs and bank payments
• Processing expenses
• Assisting with purchase ledger month end reconciliations

For this role, you must have:

• Experience working in a purchase ledger role before
• Strong systems experience (Sage and Excel would be advantageous)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders internally as well as suppliers
• Motivation to learn and develop and be accountable for your own standards

As Accounts Payable Assistant you will get:
