Location: Chawton, Alton, Hampshire (On-site)
Pay Rate: £28,000 - £30,000 (FTE)
Hours: Part-Time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Assistant to join a small, friendly finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong sense of purpose and a desire to contribute to a values-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
• Assist with month-end procedures and reporting as required

About You:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance assistant role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support the wider team
