Job Description - Accounts Payable Assistant

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the effective running of Accounts Payable through timely delivery of supplier payments and query management. You will need to build good working relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Location: Northampton

Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 working day from home

Salary: £25K - £30K (dependant on experience) + study support

The role

Manage the daily processing of invoices and credit notes
Support with route-cause investigations for repetitive invoice queries & processing problems and assist with process improvements
Reconciling various accounts

The ideal candidate profile for this role:

AAT or equivalent qualified or studying towards
SAP experience required
Problem solving and attention to detail is also critical to this role
