Accounts Payable Clerk

We're recruiting for a detail-focused Accounts Payable Clerk. In this role, you'll be responsible for processing supplier invoices, managing outgoing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records to support smooth business operations.

Description

Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and processing of invoices
• Ensure timely and accurate payments of vendor invoices
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Maintain vendor files and the accounts payable system
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Work closely with other departments to resolve accounting issues
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Support the Accounting & Finance Department with other tasks as needed

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Understanding of the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry

Job Offer

Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum
