Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client is seeking a highly dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join their dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for completing tasks relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking processes. Job Title - Accounts Payable Clerk

Rate - £18.92 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Working Pattern - Remote

Contract Length - 2 months + extension

Job Description

• Ensure invoices are processed within two working days of receipt
• Resolve invoice queries within three working days of receipt
• Reconcile supplier accounts and perform monthly supplier statements
• Record funds received in bank accounts on the correct sales ledger customer accounts or tenant accounts within two working days of receipt
• Download bank statements for all bank accounts daily or weekly as per the requirement/activity on account
• Post all transactions reflected on bank statements on the day of download

Experience Required

• Proven work experience as a Finance Officer in a similar transnational finance role
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Ability to calculate, process and post accurate financial records
• Proficient data entry skills along with an affinity for numbers
• Written and spoken proficiency in English and experience using MS Office suite products
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
