Accounts Payable Clerk

Behind the scenes, the finance team plays a crucial role in keeping everything running smoothly, and this role offers the chance to be right at the heart of it. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of the accounts payable function, managing everything from invoice processing and supplier payments to expense claims and reconciliations.

You’ll be working in a role that’s far more than just data entry. The position offers real variety. You could be speaking to suppliers one moment, reconciling statements the next, and supporting month-end reporting soon after. Your ability to stay organised, keep an eye on the detail, and communicate clearly will make a big impact across the business.

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in accounts payable or finance administration, ideally within a busy or multi-site environment. Strong Excel skills and confidence using accounting systems like Xero or Sage would be a big plus, and if you’re working towards your AAT qualification, or already have it, even better. Most importantly, you’ll bring a proactive, reliable approach and a desire to be part of a genuinely positive team.
