Accounts Payable Clerk

Overview

Mitchell Adam are representing a client, located in the Birmingham City Centre, who are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy team on an Immediate Start basis. This position has become available due to an increase in workload over the

last year resulting in the team needing an extra set of hands. They are wanting to take someone on, on a temporary to permanent basis as they ideally would like someone who is immediately available.
The position will have the successful candidate assisting with the purchase ledger by processing incoming invoices into their SAGE system. They will need to help with matching these invoices up to purchase order numbers as well as coding them correctly in

the system. The successful candidate will also be helping with preparing for payment runs by generating payable invoice summary reports.
Skills Required

Have worked in a similar position, where you were responsible for the purchase ledger (entering invoices and assisting with payment runs).
Be an organised, diligent person, as accuracy is very important in this position due to the high volumes that will be required of you.
Be confident on Microsoft Office, especially excel as you will be tasked with generating reports and manipulating it to present to management.
Be available to start work immediately!
