Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager | £37,500 - £40,000 | Permanent | Hybrid (1 day a week) | Manchester:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a permanent Accounts Payable Manager to manage and develop their busy Accounts Payable team. The role offers hybrid working, flexi time, generous pension contribution and other great benefits.

Duties:

• Ensure the Accounts Payable function of the business is ran smoothly and efficiently
• Managing a team of 2 Finance Officers, holdings 121s, setting KPIs and ensuring objectives are met
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and stakeholders of the business, to support with any Accounts Payable related queries
• Analyse current processes of the Accounts Payable function and implement improvements where necessary
• Managing the PO system, and role out suitable training to the wider business on the Accounts Payable process

Experience:

• Experience in a similar role, managing a team
• Ability to implement improvements to current processes and experience doing this
• Strong excel skills with the ability to use V-look ups, Pivot tables and experience using Agresso/Unit 4 (desirable)
• Understanding of end to end Account Payable process
