Accounts Payable Manager

Description

• Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
• Maintain and improve AP policies, procedures, and controls to align with industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with payment terms.
• Prepare regular reports on AP performance and provide insights to senior management.
• Support the month-end close process by reconciling AP accounts.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the AP function.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the AP team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Profile

A successful AP Manager should have:

• Proven expertise in accounts payable operations within the accounting and finance sector.
• Experience in the life sciences industry will be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processes.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and ERP systems.
