Description

The Accounts Payable Senior duties will include:

• Process and verify a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy.
• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Maintain and update accounts payable records in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Senior should have the following experience/qualities:

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
