Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: London / London Bridge

Salary: Competitive

Hybrid: 3 days in the office / two from home

Ryder Reid Legal seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our prestigious, international law firm clients on a permanent basis at their London office. The AP Specialist will take full ownership of the firm's accounts payable system, managing everything from invoice processing to payment. This role is crucial in handling both firm expenditures and professional disbursements related to the firm's legal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire accounts payable function
• Process supplier invoices accurately and timely
• Reconcile credit card transactions and direct debits
• Handle external professional fees and disbursements
• Ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
• Maintain petty cash and upload payments for approval
• Produce month-end reports for management and audit purposes

The Ideal Candidate:

• Knowledge of VAT processes and basic accounting principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
• Proficiency in IT (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience in a legal firm's accounts payable role is highly preferred
