Accounts Payable Supervisor

RG Consultancy are working with a well-established and growing company based in Wilmslow who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Supervisor. You will oversee a small team of Accounts Payable staff and report back to the Financial Controller.

The Role

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of supper invoices
• Ensure invoices are matched to purchase orders and identifying discrepancies
• Ensuring supplier information is maintained and up to date
• Payment rums and issuing remittances
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Deal with any internal and external queries
• Support in identifying and feeding back any process improvements within accounts payable
• Oversee and manage a small team of AP staff
• Support the financial controller with any year end and audit preparations where needed

The Person

• Experience working within Accounts Payable as a senior or supervisor
• Experience managing or overseeing a small team
• An AAT qualification is highly desirable
