Accounts Payable Supervisor

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and support our AP function. You'll manage a small team of 4, ensuring that all supplier payments are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. This role would suit someone who is ready for the step up to supervisor level, supporting the AP Manager or someone who is already in a team leader role wanting a change of industry.

Description

• Supervise and mentor a team of 4 Accounts Payable staff, providing daily support and guidance
• Oversee end-to-end AP processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Review and approve payment runs and supplier reconciliations
• Resolve invoice queries and manage supplier relationships
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow
• Drive process improvements and contribute to finance projects
• Monitor KPIs and support month-end and year-end close processes

Profile

• Previous experience in a similar Accounts Payable leadership or supervisory role or AP role
• Strong knowledge of AP systems and procedures
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and team development
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with finance ERP systems is an advantage

Job Offer

• A competitive salary range of £33000 - £35000 per annum.
