Job Description - Accounts Payable Team Leader

The Company

Axon Moore is exclusively partnering with a fast growing, professional services business in West Manchester. Due to continued growth they require an ambitious, people leader with strong Excel skills to join their exciting team.

Salary – Circa £38,000

Location – West Manchester

Hybrid – 4 days in 1 working from home.

Responsibilities will include:

Responsible for the direct people leadership of accounts payable analysts
Responsible for implementing, supporting and delivering accounts payable strategy
Managing all aspects of transactional processing within accounts payable team.
Drive productivity and deliver services in line with KPIs.
Work closely with Head of Accounts Payable to identify process improvements and drive best practice.
Be the senior escalation point in the event of unresolved or complex issues
Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to monitor performance and resolve issues impacting productivity and accuracy.
Support in delivering audit
Recognise and communicate any risks and issues with the team, management and key stakeholders.
Coach, train, develop and motivate the team.

Person Specification:

IT literate, able to use Microsoft Office, Excel etc.
Confident and professional manner
Team player and approachable
Numerical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience of managing a team.
