Reed is partnering with a globally renowned organisation to assist them in recruiting an Accounts Payable Supervisor. The main purpose of the role will be to ensure all transactional reporting for clients are accurate and queries are answered quickly.

The main responsibilities for this role are:

• Checking contract terms and supporting the sing-off of contractual information
• Authorising BACS payments runs to multiple sources in various currencies
• Authorising and clearing WIP payments
• Investigating any reasons for sales rejections and supporting sales recalculations
• Supervising the production of reports on client payments
• Calculating commission
• Ensuring client records are accurately maintained
• Making changes to payment information
• Reviewing client payments and statements to ensure accuracy
• Amending client statements as required
• Supporting Management Accountants on audit queries
• Supervising the team to respond to any queries from clients surrounding payments
• Ensuring the team objectives are set and reviewed, whilst training the team across systems and processes
• Carrying out any ad-hoc duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience in a similar role accounts role involving client/customer contact
• Proven ability to oversee the work of junior accounts staff
• An accounts background, ideally in a multi-national organisation where you have dealt with multi-currencies
• Excellent knowledge of transactional accounting
• Is a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders across the business, and overseas
• Is able to work independently to meet deadlines and KPIs
