We are seeking a proactive and experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our clients finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for process improvement to take ownership of the AP function and drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee supplier reconciliations and resolve complex queries.
• Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to maintain strong working relationships.
• Assist with month-end closing and reporting.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, with team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of AP processes and systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
