Accounts Payable - Transaction Services Manager

We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transaction Services Manager - Accounts Payable to lead our AP operations for Fashion Brands. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process, oversee a small team, and play a key role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and financial compliance.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Manage End-to-End Accounts Payable - Oversee invoice receipt, verification, approval, and timely payment, ensuring compliance with internal controls.

• Lead and Develop the AP Team - Supervise staff, allocate workloads, provide training, conduct reviews, and foster high performance.

• Drive Process Improvement - Identify and implement automation and workflow enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

• Maintain Vendor Relationships - Resolve payment issues, manage inquiries, and collaborate with procurement to support timely approvals and strong vendor engagement.

• Oversee Reconciliation and Reporting - Ensure accurate reconciliations, produce AP reports, and maintain compliance with accounting standards.

• Ensure Compliance and Support Audits - Uphold regulatory and policy compliance, implement internal controls, and assist with audit preparations.

• Support Cash Flow and Strategic Reporting - Manage payment timing to optimise working capital, and provide insights and reports to the Financial Controller.

Person Specifications:

• Part Qualified - ACCA's or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of AP processes including GRNI
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Sage 200
• Understanding of UK and Dutch VAT rules applicable to AP
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and vendor management skills.
