Accounts Receivable Controller

As an Accounts Receivable Controller in Brighton, you will help keep accounting records accurate and support the day-to-day running of the Accounting & Finance department within the company. You will manage core accounts receivable tasks so that financial information is clear, up to date and useful to the wider business.

Description

Maintain accurate accounts receivable records to keep financial information current and reliable.
Process customer payments and ensure they are allocated correctly within the finance system.
Prepare and issue invoices, helping to maintain clear and timely billing records.
Review outstanding balances and follow up on unpaid invoices in a professional manner.
Respond to payment and invoice queries, providing clear information to internal contacts and customers.
Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain organised finance documentation so records can be easily accessed when needed.
Work closely with the Accounting & Finance department to support accurate day-to-day financial administration.Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Controller should have:

Experience of maintaining accurate financial records and processing payments.
Confidence preparing invoices and managing accounts receivable information.
Ability to review account balances and investigate discrepancies carefully.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for handling invoice and payment queries.
Good attention to detail when working with financial data and documentation.
