Permanent vacancy: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Watford (on-site)

Duration: Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a dynamic finance team and help ensure the smooth and accurate processing of incoming payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable ledger to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Generate and send accurate invoices to clients in accordance with company policies.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
• Assist with month-end closing and audit processes.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions and communications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ideally part qualified but not essential
