Accounts Semi -Senior

TPF are currently representing a growing
firm in Newbury, who are seeking a full -time Accounts Semi -Senior to join their
team. This is a varied role where you will gain exposure to working in accounts,
tax, bookkeeping and VAT.

This role suits someone who is looking
to continue their career within a reputable, local independent firm of
chartered accountants that manage to strike a balance between a good quality of

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts.
  
• Assisting with management accounts production.
  
• Personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns.
  
• General bookkeeping duties using
  Xero or QuickBooks.
  
• Use
  Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks confidently, including providing client training
  where required.
  
• Work
  effectively within a practice environment, supporting wider team workflows.
  
• Undertake
  ongoing training, with full support available towards ACCA or ACA.
  

Requirements

• Strong
  client -facing experience within a practice setting.
  
• Good
  working knowledge of Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  
• Understanding
  of payroll and tax processes is advantageous but not essential.
  
• Strong
  IT skills and willingness to handle simple internal IT tasks.
  
• AAT
  qualified or ACA/ACCA part -qualified (or equivalent experience).
