Accounts Semi Senior / Management Accountant

Are you an Accounts Semi Senior / Outsourcing Semi Senior / Management Accountant with at least 3 years experience in an accountancy firm, now looking to upgrade to a modern and forward thinking Top 30 City practice? Are you looking for a role where you can utilise your expertise in cloud based software such as Xero, and act in an advisory capacity to many high profile clients from a variety of sectors? Are you also looking for a role which will allow flexible working and the ability to work from home two days a week? Based in a very successful, rapidly growing Outsourcing team, your role will be varied and will include managing your own portfolio of clients and being in charge of the following duties: the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts, quarterly VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments (often reviewing) and client advisory work using predominantly Xero. You will be offering clients advice, help clients with migrating from other software packages to Xero and be responsible for ad hoc projects and assignments such as budgeting, cash flows, forecasts etc. Client sectors will include industries such as financial services, other FCA regulated businesses, property, technology, law, media and retail. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. There will be many growth and development opportunities in the future. Please note there is no study support offered in this position.

To be considered for this new role (June 2025) you must have at least 3 years experience (or more) working for a good quality practice firm, with experience of the above duties, and you MUST have strong up to date experience using Xero. You must have experience preparing management accounts, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments. You must now be looking to upgrade to a very good quality Central London based Top 30 firm where you can continue with your career and work in a role of great importance to this firm in a rapidly expanding department. You must be looking to work on a wide variety of good quality London based clients, take on responsibility at a rapid pace and manage and service your portfolio of clients to a high standard. This firm has had great success with candidates who are based outside of London who are looking to relocate and work in a London based practice. The firm offer staff hybrid working and you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
