Accounts Semi -Senior / Senior

The Role:

You’ll be working with a varied portfolio of clients, from sole traders and partnerships to small and medium -sized limited companies across a range of industries. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing year -end accounts
  

• Management accounts preparation
  

• VAT returns and bookkeeping duties
  

• Assisting with tax computations
  

• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and build lasting relationships
  

• Supporting senior staff with ad hoc projects
  

• Working with cloud -based software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
  

Requirements

About You:

This role would suit someone who is already working within an accountancy practice and is keen to take that next step in their career.

• AAT qualified, or part -qualified ACA / ACCA
  

• Previous experience in a UK practice setting is essential
  

• Comfortable preparing, or reviewing, accounts and VAT returns
  

• Confident communicating directly with clients
  

• A team player with a proactive attitude
  

• Eager to continue studying and progressing
