Accounts Semi-Senior

TPF Recruitment are currently working with a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants located in Portchester, Portsmouth, currently seeking a talented Accounts Semi-Senior to join their dynamic and growing team.

Responsibilities:

Within this position, the successful Semi Senior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team. They will also be offered ACCA/ACA study support.

• Preparation of statutory accounts.
  
• Preparation of corporate tax computations.
  
• General bookkeeping using cloud software- Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.
  
• Supporting the directors with ad-hoc advisory work.
  
• Assisting more junior members of staff.
  

• AAT qualified and/or studying towards an ACCA or ACA qualification.
  
• You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
  
• Experience of cloud software such as Iris, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
  
• Are driven, inquisitive, and passionate about your work, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Exhibit organization, enthusiasm, and self-motivation.
  

• Salary circa £28,000 - £37,000 depending on experience and qualification status.
