Accounts Semi-Senior - Practice

We’re working with a highly regarded general practice of Chartered Accountants in East Kent, known for their modern approach, supportive culture, and long-standing client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a talented and ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to join their dynamic team.

The Role:

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will play a key role within the firm’s busy accounts and compliance team. You will be working with a diverse portfolio of clients — from sole traders and partnerships through to complex limited companies across various sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing year-end accounts for a broad client base

• Corporation and personal tax compliance

• Supporting outsourcing assignments (bookkeeping, VAT, management accounts)

• Liaising directly with clients, building trusted relationships and delivering excellent service

• Working collaboratively with managers and senior staff to support client needs

About You:

• You’ll have at least 2 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice

• Ideally AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or QBE with relevant experience)

• Confident preparing accounts and handling tax compliance work

• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, client-focused approach
