Are you an ambitious part-qualified accountant looking to broaden your experience in both accounts and audit? Our client, a well-regarded and growing accountancy practice in Romford, is seeking a proactive Accounts Semi-Senior to join their dynamic team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practice experience who is keen to develop their skills in a mixed role with exposure to audit assignments.

You’ll be working closely with managers and partners, supporting a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. The role will be split between accounts preparation, tax compliance, and assisting on audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Assisting with audit fieldwork and planning under supervision
• Preparation of corporation tax and personal tax returns
• Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation as needed
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and build strong relationships
• Supporting junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team environment

• What We’re Looking For:
• AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part-qualified
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Some exposure to audit work (training will be provided)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proficient in cloud-based software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
• A team player with a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn
