Accounts Senior

This position seeks an Accounts Senior who will oversee the company's financial transactions and reports. The role is in the professional services industry, based in Huddersfield.

Description

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Document and improve accounting control procedures
• Coordinate with accounting team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
• Generate financial reports and statements to managers for review
• Assist in tax preparations and filings

Profile

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Familiarity with financial statements
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or QBE
