Accounts Senior

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts senior to join a small fast growing firm in Reading with a key focus on providing an excellent service to their clients across Accounts and Tax.

Description

The Senior Accountant will have a key leadership role in the team supporting the Directors.

Responsibilities will include:

• Management of own client of portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and individuals
• Management accounts preparation including budgets and cashflow forecasts
• Year-end accounts preparation (FRS105 & FRS102)
• Corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns
• Supporting the practice manager in workflow management and ensuring deadlines are met
• Support with team management across daily operations and ensuring provision of a high quality of service to clients
• Training and support for junior members of the team
• Contributing to business planning and growth strategies

Profile

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing a client portfolio, with strong skills in year-end accounts preparation (FRS105 & FRS102) and tax planning & compliance with excellent technical knowledge. You will enjoy working in fast-paced environment and have a desire to be a key part of a growing firm.
