Job Title: Accounts Senior
Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: £32,000 - £45,000

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join an Accountancy Practice based in Leeds City Centre. This is a client-facing role within a busy practice, ideal for someone keen to manage their own portfolio and support junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop your own client portfolio
• Prepare draft financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and companies
• Assist with client finalisation meetings alongside partners
• Produce draft business tax computations for review
• Maintain accurate client files and meet internal deadlines
• Prepare management accounts and client meeting summaries
• Communicate with clients and handle queries on accounts, tax, and bookkeeping
• Support and review work of junior team members
• Plan workload effectively and record chargeable time accurately

Requirements:
• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge and communication skills
• Confident managing deadlines and working independently
