Accounts Senior

A well-established and reputable Chartered Accountancy Practice in Garforth is looking to appoint a proactive and experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role offering direct support to the Partners, with responsibility for preparing accounts across a varied client portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong technical ability and practice experience to take on a key position within a supportive and professional firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting where required
• Supporting the Partners with ad hoc client and compliance work
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide ongoing support
• Gain exposure to personal and corporate tax returns.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in an accountancy practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge and experience preparing accounts for a variety of entity types
• AAT qualified or or qualified by experience (study support can be provided).
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Confident communication skills and a client-focused approach
