Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)

A modern and growing accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking for a confident and experienced Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant to take the next step in their career within a supportive and ambitious firm.

The successful candidate will work closely with managers and senior colleagues, supporting a varied client portfolio and playing a key role in delivering high-quality accounting, tax and business services.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare accounts and tax returns for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders

• Support client managers with more complex assignments

• Get involved with audit assignments where required

• Mentor and train junior team members

• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day client needs

What they’re looking for:

• ACA or ACCA qualified

• At least 3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice

• Solid knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong IT skills and confidence using accounting software

• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
