Responsibilities:

• Role split is approximately 90% accounts and 10% audit
• Preparation of accounts for a portfolio of clients, predominantly small limited companies
• VAT returns, management accounts and tax computations
• Audit of financial statements from planning through to completion
• Managing juniors including assigning, overseeing and reviewing work

Requirements:

• ACA / ICAEW or ACCA qualified with previous practice experience in accounts, audit and taxation
• Constantly up to date with adaptations in legislation and compliance requirements
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts and audit software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, CaseWare etc)
• Ability to prioritise assignments and work accurately with good levels of attention to detail

• Salary up to £50,000 depending upon experience
• 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday (30 minute break)
