This role is for an Accounts Senior who will provide proficient accounting and financial services for a professional services firm based in Wirral.

Description

• Preparation and review of financial statements.
• Management of client portfolios including building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Providing tax advice and processing tax returns.
• Completing VAT returns and management accounts for clients.
• Assisting junior team members and contributing to their professional development.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
• Identifying opportunities for additional services to offer clients.
• Working closely with the wider team to deliver a comprehensive service to clients.

Profile

A successful Accounts Senior should have:

• A relevant accounting qualification. Working towards ACA/ACCA/AAT completion.
• Experience in a similar role within a professional services firm.
• Proficiency in accounting software packages.
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage and mentor junior team members.
