Accounts Senior

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Senior to join this well-established national Practice with a small team ethos, carrying out duties for the main Accounts Team. Working to provide a high-quality service on a unique and varied client base, you really will feel at home with this supportive team.

The role is offered with hybrid working (following successful probation) with a fantastic and knowledgeable team around you, and there is ample opportunity to continue in your career journey and progress naturally upwards.

The person suitable for this role will have to be either part-way or finished their AAT, ACA/ACCA and have around 3 years of previous experience working within a practice environment.

As the Accounts Senior, you will be:

• Preparing financial statements, corporation tax and cash flows
• Producing year-end accounts
• Working with sole-traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
• Prepare Schedules for Tax returns
• Complete VAT returns
• Liaise with clients on queries
• Assist Junior Members of the team

As the Accounts Senior, you will have:

• Great communication skills and a desire to work closely with clients
• Exceptional attention to detail
• AAT level 4, ACCA/ACA Qualification
• Strong accounting systems knowledge
• Experience working within a practice environment
