Location: Eastbourne

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 (pro rata if part-time)

We’re recruiting for an Accounts Technician role with a respected Eastbourne firm that prides itself on nurturing talent and offering real progression.

Whether you're newly qualified or part-way through your AAT, this is a great opportunity to gain exposure across all areas of accounts while working in a supportive, sociable team.

The Role:

Working within the accounts team, you’ll support a broad client portfolio, taking ownership of regular bookkeeping and accounts preparation tasks while gaining valuable client contact experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client bookkeeping and VAT returns

• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts

• Supporting the production of management accounts

• Liaising directly with clients

• Helping with ad hoc tasks across the office

What We’re Looking For:

• AAT Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent experience)

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice

• Willingness to learn and develop

• Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
