Are you an experienced accounts/tax professional looking for a supportive, flexible practice role? This growing firm is looking for someone with a solid grounding in UK accountancy practice to join their friendly team.

About the Role

We're working with an established and approachable accountancy practice that’s looking to add an Accounts & Tax Assistant to their team. This role is ideal for someone who’s already worked in a UK practice environment and is now looking to take on more responsibility, with the option to continue training and development.

You’ll be involved in a mix of accounts preparation and tax work, supporting a varied client base of small businesses and individuals.

What you will be doing

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
• Supporting senior staff and partners with client queries and compliance tasks
• Taking on more responsibility as your skills develop

What they’re looking for

• Experience working in a UK accountancy practice is essential
• Strong foundation in accounts preparation and/or tax compliance
• Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a small team
