Acquisition Marketing Manager - 12 Month Mat Cover

Job Overview:
VMA GROUP are working alongside a longstanding client of theirs within the Drinks sector, a multinational organisation who are looking for a direct-to-consumer marketing manager to manager the acquisition channels for a couple of high-performing sites. The business has great ambitions to continue the growth, and for the successful candidate to come in and lead on the strategy and execution whilst the incumbent goes on Maternity leave.

The role requires managing global stakeholders, presenting to the board within a matrix org and the management of a team of specialists, as well as adopting and utilising the current tech stack – Salesforce and other data platforms.

Main duties / key responsibilities:
Own and deliver the Media and CRM strategies for global direct-to-consumer business.
Drive effective paid media planning and optimisation that delivers growth.
Lead the annual connections planning process and our agency partner.
Work with agency partners on weekly/monthly reporting requirements.
Working alongside agency support to plan out all CRM journeys, automations and triggers and sign off final creatives and roadmaps.
Management of the SEO content specialist within the team and lead support for the Community Managers.
Support the team where required on developing activations, consumer experiences and general digital marketing efforts.

Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
Experiencing leading media and CRM strategy with a Direct-to-Consumer environment.
Digital marketing expertise, including CX, UX, multi-channel campaigns and working to a commercial plan.
Commercially astute with experience creating plans that deliver business growth.
Awareness of creative best practice across digital marketing channels.
Excellent attention to detail, time management & prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across multiple projects.
Project Management, Analytical mindset.
Experience of presenting to Board Level members.
High resilience & positive attitude.
