Title: Acting Supervisor- Moulding
Location: Manor Park, Runcorn
Salary: £29,203 per annum
Shifts: Mon- Fri 3 week rotating shift pattern 06:30- 15:00, 14:30- 23:00 & 22:30- 07:00
Contract Type: Permanent

Our client, who specialises in the manufacture and supply of cartridge systems, nozzles, and plungers for the adhesive and sealant industries are currently recruiting for an Acting Supervisor- Moulding to join their team.

The detail-oriented Acting Supervisor supports the manufacturing operations. Capable of working with a range of manual and automated machinery and equipment. This role involves a variety of tasks including machine set-ups, leading teams, and assisting in the training of new staff. The position requires physical stamina, as it involves standing for extended periods, and the ability to work across different shifts. The role also includes contributing to various cross-functional tasks within the business as needed. When not covering supervisors, the individual will perform operational duties. A proactive, efficient, and team-oriented approach is essential.

As an Acting Supervisor- Moulding your duties will be: -

" To carry out mould changes, material changes and colour changes.
" Prepare all necessary equipment, paperwork and ancillary equipment for production.
" Monitor daily productions and quality control performance records, identifying in efficiencies and taking responsive actions where necessary.
" Operate machinery and equipment under pressure, ensuring that all downtime is minimized.
" Correctly and accurately complete any documentation required.
" Perform preventative, regular housekeeping on injection moulding machines, equipment, and work area.
" Carry out all manual operations that are required in the process within the Moulding Department.
" Advise management of any potential equipment, facilities concern or failures which may directly affect quality, productivity or safety.
" Provide regular performance feedback and effective training recommendations.
" Complete all relevant paperwork applicable to the process and records of health and safety checks.
" Flexible to cover supervisors or operators during times of absence.

The successful Acting Supervisor- Moulding will have the following skills: -

" Prior injection moulding experience will be an advantage.
" Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
" Well organised, motivated, and meticulous about management and good time-management skills.
" Be able to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
