Were looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Assistant to join our vibrant Activities Hub supporting young adults with complex care needs. This is more than just a job it's an opportunity to enrich lives through meaningful engagement, inclusion, and fun.

About Us:
Our activities hub is a safe and stimulating space designed to empower young adults with a range of physical, sensory, and learning disabilities. We provide tailored activity sessions, skill-building opportunities, and social interaction in a supportive and person-centred environment.

The Role:
As the Activities Assistant, youll help plan and deliver engaging sessions that could include art, music, sensory play and life skills. Youll work closely with our team to ensure every individual feels included, valued, and supported in achieving their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and running group activities
• Support individuals with varying needs, ensuring dignity, respect, and fun
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the team
• Promote independence, creativity, and participation

What Were Looking For:

• Enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting others
• Experience working with individuals with complex care needs (desirable but not essential training will be provided)
• Creativity and confidence in leading or supporting activities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude
