Activities Coordinator (Part-Time) - Tyne and Wear

RG Setsquare are working in partnership with a leading Social Housing organisation based in Tyne and Wear. We are looking to appoint an exceptional Activities Coordinator to join their Supported Housing Services team. You will play a key role in building a vibrant, thriving, and supportive community for their residents, including those living with dementia. Your new role as Activities Coordinator:

As the Activities Coordinator you will plan and deliver an inclusive, varied programme of activities and events that keeps residents active and connected. You will get to know the residents' unique stories, abilities, and interests to foster a deep sense of purpose and identity. Responsibilities will be to collaborate closely with care staff, families, volunteers, and local groups to build a flourishing onsite community.

The Experience Required:

To thrive in this role, you will bring a positive, compassionate, and resilient attitude, with the ability to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Strong communication and active listening skills to build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. You will also possess excellent organisational skills to manage schedules, adapt activities on the fly, and prepare resources. You will have a proven track record of within an activity setting, an enhanced DBS and working within an extra care setting and a social housing environment would be advantageous.
