We are seeking an enthusiastic Admin to join our productive team at Randstad Delivery (GBS) in Newport, Gwent.

Randstad are looking for a Passenger Transport Procurement Officer to work for the local authority. You will effectively carry out the assessment and allocations of Home to School Transport applications, Carry out the assessment and allocations of Post 16 and Concessionary Transport and manage the invoicing and collection of fees charged.

Role: Admin

Location: Newport

Pay: £13.73

Hours: 37 hour week and will be mostly working from home however training will be based in office.

Requirements:

  • To procure education transport tenders with the use of E-Procurement systems and undertake their evaluation and subsequent award to successful contractors, in accordance with Council policies and Government regulations

  • To procure Home to School contracts within the terms and conditions of the Passenger Transport Unit for new and transferring pupils.
  • To review and maintain mainstream school, special needs school, college contracts and implement improvements to contracts to maximise benefits, ensuring continuity of services and value for money.
