Admin/Clerical Officer

Brook Street Ltd are pleased to announce a readily available position within Cornwall Helston TR12 7RH, working for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as a Administrative Officer
The role is based on a full-time, on-site temporary contract until November 2024
Monday-Friday between hours 9-5 at an hourly rate of £12.99.

The role is solely office-based at the front desk, the temporary Worker will provide administrative support. They will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgment in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.

Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:
- Collating and analysing complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
- Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
- Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
- Preparing routine correspondence

Typical qualifications and experience:
- Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent) Desirable
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience) -Desirable
- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office -Essential
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
